In 1975 met 23 LEICA friends at Burg Staufenberg near Gießen and decided to create a society for users, enthusiasts, collectors and specialists of the historical and current LEICA System.

have been foundation members

LEICA HISTORICA e.V. is a registered association in Wetzlar. It holds its regular meetings mainly in Staufenberg. It organizes two meetings a year, guests are welcome. Once a year we arrange an excursion for members and their guests. ( Photo Album )

Today the club has more then 400 members all over the world. Our club magazine  VIDOM is written by members and comes to you twice a year. (Excerpts) It is in German language only, but we plan to edit it also in English. In the meantime we try to add a short summary of some articles in English.

Until now we have published five books. More are to follow
